On Memorial Day we decided to head on up to Lucky Peak and spend some time with Curt and Cyd on the lake. The kids had a lot of fun, and I would have to say it was even pretty relaxing for me. Now that the kids are older it is much easier! The only bad thing was Kenzie did not like the sand!!! That's kind of a big deal when you are on a sandy beach! She spent most of the afternoon on somebodies lap or on the towel:)

Luke testing out the ol' fishing pole too. He was casting it out and having the dogs swim after the little fish on the end of it. Blue got a hold of it a few times and we thought we were going to have a broken fishing pole. but it came back in one piece.

Captain KenzieIt was funny because she wanted so bad to sit here but she didn't want to be on Grandpa's lap, or Lukes, but once it was open we had a hard time getting her down!

She was making sure she got every last drop out of this can! This is as we were riding across the lake and she was wobbling all over, but she didn't let go of this can! I think it is safe to say that she loves soda!
Thanks Curt and Cyd we had a great time! I'm sure we will be up again and we can't wait!

It looks like you guys had fun! I'm a little envious! I love Kenzie's braids...her hair is getting so long. Tell Luke he needs to get a tan! HaHa just kidding, if you saw me in a swimsuit you might loose your eyesight.

oh i miss lucky peak!!! i remember how much you loved pepsi back in the day when we would drive to school together in the mornings and you always had to have your pepsi for breakfast. i thought you quit though and got huge headaches from it...like i did when i tried to go off sugar for a couple months. yeah, that didn't last long. anyways, your kids are gorgeous and i'm coming home in july for a few weeks and we all need to get together again. i'll call you when i get in town.
I can't remember the last time I was at Lucky Peak! It looks so fun! I may have to try and fit a family outing there in before we move!
